NEW YORK [NY] - Kathryn Merlin, age 54, of New York, NY, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 12, 2001. She was born on Nov. 10, 1947, in Madison, Wis., to Helene and Frederick Merlin. She had graduated from Madison Central high School in 1965, and attended the University of Wisconsin. After much traveling and working throughout the United States as a model and writer, she settled in the city she loved the most, New York. She is survived by her mother, Helene Merlin of Madison, Wis.; a sister, Christine M. Manesis of Madison, Wis.; her brother, Rick Merlin of Pleasanton, Calif.; a niece, Amanda Manesis of Chicago, Ill.; a niece, Jessica Merlin of Pleasanton, Calif.; and nephews, Jon and Daniel Merlin of Pleasanton, Calif.
