MADISON - Elizabert "Betty" Eisenman, age 72, of Madison, died on Tuesday, October 1, 1996 at the Wausau Manor Nursing Home, Wausau. Betty had been a teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1948 until 1950. She then taught at Octonto High School until 1954 and then returned to Madison to teach Central High from 1954 until 1968 and at Madison West from 1968 until 1979 where she retired from. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She is survived by two brothers, Arthur F. Eisenman Jr. of Wausau and Roger (Patricia) Eisenman of Wausau; a sister-in-law, Elsie Eisenman of Wausau; an uncle, Richard Eisenman of Wausau; nieces; nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, M. Mark Eisenman. Funeral mass will be celebrated at ST. JAMES CATHOLIC CHURCH, Wausau, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 1996. Reverend Steve Gross will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. BRAINARD FUNERAL HOME assisted the family.
