MADISON - Louise Helen Hunt died on October 21, 1994, at age 47, following a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Louise was born in Madison on June 9, 1947, to Louis and Esther Dybdal. She graduated from Central High School in Madison in 1965, and subsequently received undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and a graduate degree from the UW-Milwaukee. She married her husband, Ronald Hunt, on June 17, 1978. For the past 17 years she was a policy analyst with the Wisconsin Department of Health and Social Services. Louise was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church with an active interest in Lay Reading and prison fellowship. She was an avid tennis player, golfer, hiker, and loved by her dogs. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Dybdal; and is survived by her husband, Ronald Hunt; her mother, Esther Dybdal; and her sisters Delma Pupheland and Bernice Olson. Funeral services will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, 312 Wisconsin Avenue, on Tuesday, October 25, 1994, at 2:30 p.m., with the Reverend Donald Jacobson officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24 at the Ryan Funeral Home, 2418 Sherman Avenue. Memorials may be made to the Bethel Media Ministry. Louise had a special love in her heart for people. Her energies were directed at trying to make a difference in this world, She strove to live her life by the words of Romans 12, 21b "overcome evil with good." She is now with our Lord. Those of us who knew her well were blessed and will miss her very much.
