Obituary: Joanne Hildebrandt

MADISON - Mrs. Joanne M. Noe, age 28, of 641 Knickerbocker St., died on Wednesday, December 24, 1975 at Janesville following an auto accident. Born November 16, 1947 in Madison, she was the former Joanne Hildebrandt. She is survived by one son, David; a daughter, Renee; her mother Mrs. Dolores Hildebrandt; one brother, Dale; and her grandmother, Mrs. Stella Wentworth, all of Madison. Funeral services will be held at the JOYCE FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Rd., at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 29, the Rev. Dale R. Hanaman officiating. Burial at Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, December 28 at the JOYCE FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Rd.

Obituary: F. Lucille Reid

MADISON - F. Lucille Reid, age 81, formerly of 213 Westmoreland Boulevard, died on Thursday, December 20, 1984, at a local nursing home. She was born on January 4, 1903 in Cambridge, Wisconsin, the daughter of Reverend H. Frank and Lottie Reid. She graduated from Onalaska Kansas High School and Hastings Nebraska College. She taught French at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and was head of the French House for many years. She also taught French at Central High School, Madison, from which school she retired several years ago. Lucille and her parents were members of Christ Presbyterian Church for many years. She is survived by her beloved brother, George of San Jose, California; two loving sisters-in-law, Delores Reid of San Jose, and Marge Reid of Schenectady, New York; a niece; six nephews; and two very dear cousins, Willis and Roger Hammond of Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her twin brothers, James and Richard. Graveside services will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, 1 Speedway Road on Wednesday, December 26, 1984, at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend John R. Johnson will officiate. The family suggests that memorials be made to Christ Presbyterian Church, 944 E. Gorham St. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, is in charge of the arrangements.

Obituary: Allan Argue

Allan Argue, 51, Ex-Teacher, Dies

Allan S. Argue, 51, of 3902 Fern Ct., former head of the mathematics department at Central High School, died Tuesday (Dec. 10, 1968) in a hospital.

Mr. Argue was born in Belleville. He received a bachelor of arts degree in 1939 and a mater's degree in 1940 from the University of Wisconsin.

From 1942 to 1946 Mr. Argue taught high school in Antigo. He then taught mathematics and science at Madison Central High School until 1963. Mr. Argue was the head of the mathematics department at Central High School.

He was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former Carol Nelson; two daughters, Susan and Cheryl, both at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Ann Snyder, 1814 Cameron Dr.; and Mrs. Roleah Nelson, 2306 Gilbert Rd.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the church. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Frautschi Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd.

Burial will be in Montrose Cemetery. Memorials may be made to neurological research at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals.
